Bob the Builder is a BBC preschool children’s television series first shown in 1999. In each episode, building contractor Bob and his business partner Wendy organise their regular gang of workmen and vehicles to do renovations, construction, repairs and other projects. The show tackles conflict resolution, co-operation, socialization and various learning skills in a way young children can relate to. Bob's catchphrase is "Can we fix it?" to which the other characters reply "Yes we can!"
