Bright yellow Spongebob Squarepants is a zany cartoon sea sponge who looks more like a kitchen sponge. He lives in a pineapple in the fictional underwater city of Bikini Bottom in the Pacific Ocean. SpongeBob's other neighbour and best friend is a pink starfish named Patrick Star who lives under a rock. Spongebob and Patrick live on either side of Squidward Tentacles, who is constantly annoyed by SpongeBob and Patrick's antics.
