An Aardman Animations creation, Shaun the Sheep first appeared in the 1995 Oscar winning Wallace and Gromit film “A Close Shave”.

Due to his popularity a CBBC TV series was created with Shaun as the lead character. Shaun exhibits human intelligence and creativity which provides each episode with a barnyard situation comedy, a combination of slapstick and classic silent comedy.
